Haize Lizarazu
Haize Lizarazu is a pianist and experimental musician based in Barcelona. Her career is focused on experimental music, as well as artistic research. Especially interested in the hybridization between artistic disciplines, her work moves between composition, improvisation and musical performance applied to both her own performativity and to collaboration with other artistic disciplines. She is co-artistic director of Container Ensemble with whom she performs regularly around Europe. She has studied piano in Barcelona (BA in Esmuc) and Basel (MA Contemporary Music), Sound Art in Barcelona (MA in Universitat de Barcelona) and obtained her PhD in the UdG (Humanities, Heritage and Cultural Studies).
