La membrana is an experimental music lab in Barcelona, founded in 2023 by Anxe Faraldo and Haize Lizarazu. We tinker with sound, explore new ideas, and occasionally open our doors for small concerts, listening sessions, and hands-on workshops.
La membrana also functions as a full-fledged mastering studio, where every project—classical, pop, electronic, or experimental—is treated as a delicate experiment. Using a hand-picked selection of the finest analog and digital tools, we shape and polish sound with care, uncovering the hidden textures, subtle spaces, and resonances that give each piece its character.
In 2025, La membrana embarks on a new chapter as a record label, dedicated to adventurous sound and thoughtful production.
